Software architecture review

A practical review of what makes the system hard to change.

The review focuses on real production risk: unclear boundaries, duplicated logic, slow queries, fragile releases, security shortcuts, missing tests, hidden coupling, and workflows that only one person understands.

  1. A map of the current application and the strongest risk areas.
  2. A prioritized improvement sequence with urgent, useful, and deferred work separated.
  3. Concrete notes for developers, leadership, and future delivery planning.

Risk register

Specific problems with impact, affected code paths, suggested order, and notes about what should be measured before changing code.

Improvement path

A sequence that avoids dramatic rewrites when small structural changes, tests, indexes, boundaries, or deployment fixes can reduce more risk.

Maintainer handover

Plain technical notes that help the team understand why the recommendations matter and how to continue after the review.
